Job description

Application Developer - Junior 
Salary Range: $75,000 to $91,000 per year 
Ops Tech Alliance (OTA) is seeking a Junior Application Developer to support DLIFLC at the Presidio of Monterey, CA. The Junior Application Developer supports configuration and sustainment of administrative applications, including assessment of customer needs and implementation of improved configurations.
This position is contingent upon contract award. 
Responsibilities
• Develop and sustain applications using .NET, Java, SQL, and modern web technologies.
• Plan, install, maintain, and troubleshoot Application Developer servers and applications.
• Build solutions using SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Collaborate with senior developers, testers, and stakeholders to deliver enhancements.
Required Qualifications
• AA/AS in a related discipline, OR 3+ years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Active IAT Level II certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) plus applicable CE/OS certification.
• 2 years of experience in application development and sustainment.
• Hands-on skills: .NET, Java, SQL, MySQL, VDX, IIS, HTML5, Linux, Tomcat, Apache, SharePoint (Developer/Designer), Power Apps, Power Automate, WordPress.
• U.S. Citizenship.
Desired Qualifications
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and GitLab.
• Prior DoD experience.
