MMD Hollywood is seeking energetic, customer-focused professionals to join our team as a Sales Representative / Budtender. Located in the heart of Hollywood, we are a licensed cannabis retailer dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences, product education, and industry-leading service.

Location: 1515 N Cahuenga Blvd, Hollywood, CA

Compensation: $17.87 per hour plus participation in the store tip pool.

Position Overview

As a Sales Representative / Budtender, you will play a critical role in creating an outstanding customer experience. You will educate customers, provide personalized product recommendations, process transactions accurately, and help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment.

We're looking for dependable, outgoing individuals who are passionate about cannabis, enjoy working with people, and are eager to grow within the industry.

What You'll DoCustomer Experience
  • Welcome and engage every customer in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Build rapport and identify customer needs through active listening and thoughtful questions.
  • Recommend cannabis products based on customer preferences, goals, experience levels, and budgets.
  • Deliver exceptional service that encourages repeat business and customer loyalty.
  • Escalate customer concerns and operational issues to management when appropriate.
Product Knowledge & Education
  • Maintain a strong understanding of cannabis products, brands, consumption methods, and industry trends.
  • Stay informed about new product launches, promotions, and company initiatives.
  • Educate customers responsibly while ensuring compliance with all state and company regulations.
Sales & Operations
  • Process transactions accurately using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Handle cash responsibly and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.
  • Assist with product stocking, merchandising, and maintaining an organized sales floor.
  • Support inventory counts, audits, and other operational tasks as assigned.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Team Contribution
  • Work collaboratively with coworkers to create a positive and supportive environment.
  • Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized store throughout each shift.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and accountability at all times.

Qualifications

  • Authorized to work in the United States.
