POSITION SUMMARY
Budtenders are the heart of our dispensary. You'll educate customers, build genuine relationships, and ensure every visit is
safe, welcoming, and worth returning for. This is not just retail - it's an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of
patients and customers who rely on cannabis for wellness, recreation, or both. We invest in our Budtenders and promote

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Welcome and greet every customer with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care
• Educate customers on cannabis products, consumption methods, dosing, effects, and safety with accuracy, confidence,
and empathy
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the dispensary's POS system
• Verify customer/patient identification and ensure all transactions comply with age restrictions, purchase limits, and
state regulations
• Stay current on the full product menu, new arrivals, pricing, and promotional offerings
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor environment throughout each shift
• Follow all DHSS-DCR compliance protocols at every step of the customer interaction
• Collaborate with teammates and shift leadership to deliver consistent, seamless service
• Actively contribute to a culture of learning, continuous improvement, and mutual support
QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be 21 years of age or older (required by Missouri DHSS-DCR)
• Must obtain and maintain a valid Missouri Facility Agent ID through DHSS-DCR/MyComplia prior to starting
employment
• Previous retail, hospitality, or customer-facing service experience preferred
• Genuine passion for cannabis, wellness, education, and community
• Strong interpersonal skills - warm, approachable, and naturally curious
• Ability to learn, retain, and confidently communicate detailed product knowledge
• Basic math skills and comfort with POS systems; prior cannabis POS experience is a plus
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
PREFERRED
• Prior cannabis dispensary or wellness retail experience
• Familiarity with cannabis strains, cannabinoids, terpenes, and consumption formats
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
