TRI-STATE LIFECARE MEDICAL ADULT DAY CARE DRIVER
Job Title: Medical Adult Daycare Driver
Essential Functions:
  • Responsible for maintaining a schedule of transportation to and from the center which includes keeping meticulous records of the pick-up and drop-off of participants.
  • Assists the participant out of the home and into and out of the vehicle, as necessary.
  • Reports to program director immediately if a participant does not appear for previously scheduled transportation.
  • Makes effort to determine if the participant is helpless and unable to answer the door or the phone or has gone away for the day.
  • Maintains a schedule of maintenance of the vehicle, including documented safety checks of the safety devices.
  • Must be physically able of performing the required duties and of assisting frail, elderly, and disabled adults, as necessary.
  • Able to read and write English, fluently
  • Must provide the center with a health examination, signed by a physician and a TB clearance which is not more than 12 months old prior to employment or within 7 days of employment.

Education and Work Experience:
  • High School education or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have experience in transporting patients
  • Training in emergency procedures

Certification and Licenses:
  • Current CPR and first aid certification
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Must have auto insurance

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, drug screening, and possession of a valid driver's license.
