Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage, WI is seeking a TEAM LEAD- HOSPITAL REGISTRATION REPRESENTATIVEto join our PATIENT ACCESS-REGISTRATION team!
The Team Lead - Hospital Registration Representative monitors day-to-day activities including pre-registration, insurance eligibility and verification, preauthorization and registration functions for consistency and accuracy. Assures that all reception staff greets, registers and directs patients in a professional manner. Responsible for obtaining and maintaining complete and accurate registration records.
HOURS: Full Time 1.0 FTE, 80 Hours Biweekly
Experience/Qualifications
  • Knowledge of office standards and procedures normally acquired through a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • An Associate's degree in business management or related field preferred
  • Two years of office experience, preferably in a medical facility
  • Three years of supervisory experience highly desired
  • Computer experience and basic computer keyboarding skills required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology desired
  • Knowledge of insurance requirements such as copays, deductibles, preauthorization, etc.
  • Ability to display professional competence while being personable and discreet
  • Possess superior organizational skills, analytical abilities and proven written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, patients, employees and the public
