What you’ll be doing:

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support the efficient flow of goods, materials, and supplies across our operations. This role is responsible for coordinating transportation, managing inventory records, scheduling deliveries, and communicating with suppliers and customers to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-faxed environment, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, and is committed to continuous improvement of logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Transportation & Coordination

· Coordinate and monitor the movement of goods to ensure timely and accurate delivery

· Track shipments and proactively address delays or disruptions

· Ensure compliance with company logistics policies and applicable regulations

Inventory Management

· Maintain accurate inventory records, including shipping and receiving data

· Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment planning

· Conduct regular audits and reconcile discrepancies

Process Optimization

· Research and recommend efficient storage, handling, and transportation methods

· Analyze logistics data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement

· Support development and implementation of process improvements

Scheduling & Documentation

· Schedule deliveries and coordinate with carriers and internal teams

· Prepare and review shipping documentation and records

· Ensure proper handling of materials according to requirements

Communication & Relationship Management

· Serve as a primary point of contact for suppliers, carriers, and customers

· Resolve shipment issues, service disruptions, or discrepancies

· Build and maintain strong working relationships with external partners

Problem Solving

· Identify logistical challenges and implement timely solutions

· Escalate critical issues as needed while maintaining customer satisfaction

· Support contingency planning for supply chain disruptions

Qualifications & Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field – or equivalent work experience.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

· Experience with logistics or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA, or similar)

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment

· Knowledge of transportation regulations and shipping procedures, including international shipping and customs regulations.

· Experience working with third party logistics providers.

· Professional certifications such as CLTD or CPIM preferred

· Occasional exposure to warehouse conditions, including moderate noise levels, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.

· May require use of standard personal protective equipment (PPE) when entering production or warehouse areas.

· Regular communication with internal teams, suppliers, carriers, and customers via phone, email, and in person

· Standard business hours with occasional need for extended hours during peak periods or urgent situations.
