The Position: Reporting to the Manager Senior Logistics, we are seeking a Shipping and Logistics Coordinator to be based at our Hendra operations, Brisbane, Queensland. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the movement of goods for domestics and international shipments from suppliers to customers in a timely, cost-effective, and compliant manner.

As a global business our close and collaborative teamwork in a dynamic, fast paced environment partnering across a broad range of internal/external customer on freight and shipping requirements.

In addition but not limited to,

  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including scheduling pickups and deliveries
  • Booking shipments across multiple carriers and freight forwarders
  • Communicate with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and warehouses
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, carrier requirements, and trade regulations

About you

We are looking for an experience logistics professional with a background in working in domestic/international freight management who is looking for a opportunity that offers, diversity, global partnering, working in a team driven environment; Where your passion and skills can contribute and impact the success of you, your team and the company's success.

Knowledge & Experience Required:

  • Prior experience in shipping both Domestic and International, logistics, or supply chain coordination
  • Knowledge of domestic and international shipping procedures and documentation
  • Prior experience in a mining logistics environment would be desirable not essential
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills,
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, displaying agility in changing priorities or helping find solutions.
  • Prior experience working with multiple freight careers domestic and international is desired.
  • Proven success in collaborating in a customer centric, solution focused engagement
  • Valid Australian working rights: Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen

Knowledge and Experience - Desired:

  • Dangerous Goods Trained
  • Proficiency with ERP System- SAP
  • Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • Transportation management systems (TMS)
