Veterinary Specialty Hospital of San Diego - Sorrento Valley is looking for full-time board-certified Medical Oncologist to join our team. Locum applicants are also welcome.to apply.

We are a 24/7, stateoftheart teaching, emergency, and specialty hospital offering Anesthesia, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Cardiology, Radiation and Medical Oncology, Dermatology, Advanced Imaging, and Emergency & Critical Care. Our specialties are supported by highly skilled technicians and client care teams.

Our veterinary team works in a collegial, collaborative team environment with strong staff and doctor retention. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent patient care and maintaining trusted relationships with clients, referring veterinarians,

Teaching & Research:
We offer a robust training program for externs, rotating and specialty interns, and oncology residents. This role is ideal for someone passionate about teaching. Research interests are also encouraged and supported through Ethos Discovery.org

Equipment:
Our hospital features a 1.5T Siemens Avanto MRI, 64slice CT, two DR digital systems, multiple ultrasound units (Canon Aplio 700, Toshiba Aplio 300, Sonoscape S9, Mindray Z6Vet), digital fluoroscopy, GE 9800 CArm, integrated PACS, nerve stimulators, full endoscopy/arthroscopy/laparoscopy capabilities, and an extensive onsite laboratory. The ORs, ICU, and ER include multifunction monitors with direct pressure, anesthetic gas, and O measurement.
