Position Overview
As a Millwright Superintendent - Power at Kiewit, you will be a key player in ensuring the success of our construction operations focused mainly on power plant centerline equipment requiring precision installation alignment and solar farms. You will oversee field activities, supervise General Foremen/Foremen and craft workers, interface with Technical Field Representatives for major equipment suppliers, maintain schedule and cost control, ensure compliance with drawings and specifications, work with quality personnel to validate and document installation to manufacturer specification and tolerances, and manage work assignment to ensure project execution.
Building and maintaining positive working relationships with the client, engineer, and our equipment manufacturers as well as site other project staff will be an essential part of your role.

TIC Power (TICP) is a subsidiary of Kiewit Corporation that provides direct-hire construction services for Power Generation utilizing a non-union craft force. Strength in estimating and pre-project planning. Constructing cogeneration, combined-cycle, geothermal and waste-to-energy generation and resource facilities. TIC Power builds major EPC power plant and solar farm projects throughout North America.

Responsibilities
• Review and approve labor rates for Foremen, journeymen, and laborers to ensure fair compensation and cost control
• Coordinate and interface with other superintendents and subcontractors, to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence
• Establish and maintain positive client and key vendor relationships by engaging with on-site staff and resolving any issues or concerns promptly
• Planning, scheduling and execution of field operations ensuring compliance with erection manuals and quality procedures for assigned scope of work
• Monitor and provide input for progress and cost updates to assist the project team in maintaining proper progress and financial control
• Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties, informing project and corporate management as appropriate
• Ensure project rules, procedures and programs are followed consistently, including those involving safety, attendance, and workplace behavior standards as reflected in Company's non-harassment and nondiscrimination policies
• Maintain detailed daily records to facilitate accurate documentation and reporting

Qualifications
• 5+ years work experience in precision millwright scopes of work with at least 3 years in a Leadership or Superintendent role on Power generation projects. Candidates for this role do not have to have Superintendent experience, those who have filled foreman and general foreman roles are encouraged to apply.
• Hands on knowledge and experience in precision alignment and the instrumentation and tooling used to perform this work
• Hands on experience in the installation of combustion turbines, combustion turbine generators with and without the rotors threaded, steam turbines, and steam turbine generators. Mitsubishi, GE, Siemens, Alstom
• Rigging and lifting experience is preferred
• Relentless dedication and attention to personnel safety and adherence to all OSHA, Kiewit/TIC, and industry safety rules, regulations, and requirements
• Ability to travel as needed
• Relentless dedication to quality installation to manufacturer/OEM specification
• Demonstrated self-motivation, proactive attitude, and ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Quick learner with the capacity to grasp and implement Kiewit's policies, procedures, and software applications effectively
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and work with the larger team to resolve issues promptly and efficiently
• Strong organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Proven experience in leadership, safety management, negotiations, project planning, and contract administration
