A well-established residential and commercial plumbing organization in Lake Havasu City, AZ is immediately hiring an experienced and organized Controller to direct and oversee the financial operations, governance, and performance of a growing portfolio of businesses.

The Controller will lead all day-to-day and full cycle accounting operations and activities, ensuring the company is maximizing profit and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with lenders, CRA, payroll, GST/HST, and regulatory requirements. Your duties include, but is not limited to:

·         Lead accounting functions and manage administrative staff across multiple entities.

·         Manage month- and year-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

·         Oversee payables, receivables, payroll, cash management, and intercompany transactions.

·         Prepare budgets, forecasts, variance analyses, and KPI reporting.

·         Monitor and analyze profitability and job costing.

·         Support financing, insurance, bonding, and audits requests.

·         Prepare and deliver monthly and annual financial statements, KPI reports, cash reporting, and ad hoc management reporting.

·         Other related duties.

CONTROLLER JOB REQUIREMENTS:

·      At least seven (7) years experience as a Controller in construction, trades, service, or project-based businesses

·      Hands on experience with general ledger A/P and A/R functions, cash management, risk assessment, and job costing

·      Sound knowledge of accounting principals (GAAP), procedures, and any related legislation

·      Proficient computer skills with a solid understanding of accounting software and Excel

SHIFT: Days, 9:00am – 5:00pm (Monday – Friday).

COMPENSATION & COMPANY PERKS:

  • $75,000 - $85,000.00/year
