What is a millwright helper?

Millwright helpers are skilled laborers who assist millwrights with installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment. Their tasks include moving tools and materials, cleaning work areas, holding or supplying parts and tools, and performing basic maintenance under supervision. Millwright helpers play a crucial role in ensuring that millwrights can work efficiently and safely, often working in factories, power plants, and construction sites. They may also help with assembly, alignment, and adjustment of machinery components. This position is often a starting point for those interested in pursuing a career as a full-fledged millwright.

What does a millwright helper do?

A millwright helper assists a millwright in installing equipment, prepping job sites, and moving machines before a construction project. They also remove material after the project is complete.
