Job description

The Position:
Weโ€™re looking for a Millwork Project Manager with installation, shop floor, engineering, fabrication, or purchasing experience to aid in the overall management and completion of projects from start to finish with other team members.
Responsibilities include:
  • Working on 5-10 projects at various stages.
  • Conducting site visits for precise field measurements and installation supervision.
  • Management of the submittal process including review of architectural drawings and assisting in the engineering of shop drawings with design engineers.
  • Communicate with team members on materials being used and assist in procuring quotes or specifying specialty items.
  • Reviewing shop drawings to ensure best practices are followed prior to production.
  • Coordinate with production to ensure all quality expectations are maintained.
  • Coordinate deliveries and installation with GC's and subcontractors.

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of plastic laminate, wood veneer, panel products, hardwoods, cabinet hardware, mouldings, etc.
  • Ability to read construction and shop drawings.
  • Willing to travel to job sites.
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through email and in-person.
  • Organized, demonstrate the ability to multi-task.
  • Installation, shop floor, engineering, fabrication, or purchasing experience is preferred, however, we will train people with minimal experience with the right attitude and ambition.
