Nationwide Fixture Installations (NFI) is in search of an experienced Millwork Project Manager to join our team. This position is best suited to team players with a client-first approach who are excited and empowered to serve our internal and external clients, who ensure successful project completion, and who build and maintain strong, lasting relationships. NFI is a fast-paced, positive, and respectful environment. We are also a causal workplace – jeans and t-shirts welcome! Candidates interested in joining our team must be accountable, passionate, effective communicators, deeply detail orientated, and must have solid experience in commercial casework and millwork installations.


Employment Type: Full-time (remote work not available)

NFI Office Locations: Plymouth, MN or Scottsdale, AZ

Travel: Travel as required will be expected for this position (estimated at 20%)


Position Summary: Directly responsible for day-to-day management of assigned projects including initiation, strategy and planning, execution, monitoring and controlling and closure and reporting. This role is results-driven and safety-minded, responsible for managing projects according to agreed and planned project scope, cost, quality and timeline, and delivering results to the client’s satisfaction and within NFI’s measure of quality and success. Will be managing multiple projects at the same time.


Essential Functions:• Schedule handoff meeting with Estimator and Account Owner at start of project• Host kickoff meeting with internal team and client project team• Confirm, update and clearly document project scope of work• Validate and set project cost budget• Schedule field resources in coordination with Operations team• Finalize project plan including escalations, issue log, reporting, change management• Book and manage travel, tool shipments, coordination of rental equipment• Schedule and conduct project field training and/or jobsite visit, when required• Execute, monitor and control project ensuring quality, budget, scope and timeline• Document and communicate additional work and change orders throughout project• Coordinate regular and ongoing project reporting with internal and client teams• Perform project closure, invoicing, and sunset reviews

Requirements:

Employment Requirements: Clean driving record, background check, and drug test

Job Qualifications:

• 4-year college degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or applicable field OR

4+ years of professional work experience in non-IT project or program management, construction management or related role (retail or residential)

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Docs

• Proficient in project management principles, practices and processes

• Read, understand and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, schedules, design-intent drawings, scope of work forms and other project documents
