Multi-Family Millwork Outside Sales Representative - Temple Based


We are searching for a candidate that can travel to: Houston/San Antonio/Dallas/Ft. Worth (with local travel)


We’re looking for a driven, relationship-focused Multi-Family Outside Sales Representative to grow our millwork business with multi-family builders and contractors. In this role, you’ll develop new accounts, explore potential leads, and work closely with our estimating and production teams to deliver the right doors, windows, moldings, and custom millwork solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Prospect and develop new business with builders and contractors.
• Grow and maintain customer relationships through regular site and office visits.
• Quote and sell millwork products including doors, windows, trim, mouldings, and miscellaneous hardware.
• Measure, verify job requirements, and coordinate field conditions when needed.
• Partner with estimating to prepare accurate quotes, submittals, and takeoffs.
• Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, proposals, follow-up, closing, and post-sale support.
• Track activities, opportunities, and forecasts in CRM; maintain organized customer records.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure correct product selection, lead times, and on-time delivery.
• Attend jobsite meetings and resolve issues quickly to keep projects moving.
• Represent the company professionally at industry events and in the community.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of outside sales experience (building materials, lumber, millwork, windows/doors, or construction-related preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of residential, multi-family and light commercial construction and jobsite processes.
  • Comfortable reading plans and specifications; ability to take basic field measurements.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and close deals with a consultative approach.
  • Excellent communication, follow-through, and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally.
