Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Millwork Forman, located in New York, New York. The Millwork foreman will be responsible for ensuring any problems with installations are well documented and resolved in a timely manner.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Request deliveries according to field conditions in advance.
  • Create daily/ weekly installation schedule for each installation team.
  • Ensure any problems with installation are well documented and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all change orders are well documented (example: request, site photo, etc.).
  • Ensure all hardware (handles, locks, pulls, etc.) is counted and kept safe until day of installation.
  • Ensure everything is built according to field/ hold dimensions.
  • Ensure proper fabrication order, as per building schedule and requirements of clients.
  • Follow all company safety procedures.
  • Ensure that goals or objectives of the project are accomplished within the contracted time frame.
  • Perform other related duties as advised by the Project Managers.

Qualifications

  • 5 years' Construction or Millwork Experience is a must.
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of construction or millwork industry is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
