About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Architectural Millwork Estimator to join our team in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating high-end architectural millwork projects, particularly for luxury hospitality, restaurant, and condominium common-area interiors. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can independently manage the estimating process from plan review through bid submission.


Responsibilities


* Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for custom architectural millwork projects.

* Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from architectural drawings and specifications.

* Analyze project documents, identify scope requirements, and develop complete bid packages.

* Review project specifications, drawings, addenda, and contract documents.

* Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.

* Prepare and submit competitive bids within established deadlines.

* Manage and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) during the bidding process.

* Conduct scope reviews to ensure complete and accurate pricing coverage.

* Identify value engineering opportunities and propose cost-effective alternatives while maintaining design intent and quality standards.

* Coordinate with project managers, designers, architects, and clients as needed.

* Maintain estimating databases, pricing information, and historical cost records.


Qualifications


* Minimum 2 years of experience estimating architectural millwork projects.

* Demonstrated experience estimating:

* High-end restaurant projects

* Luxury hotel interiors

* High-end condominium common areas and amenity spaces

* Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.

* Ability to perform complete and accurate takeoffs independently.

* Proven experience preparing bids from concept through final submission.

* Experience managing RFIs, scope reviews, and value engineering exercises.

* Strong understanding of architectural drawings, millwork shop drawings, specifications, and construction documents.

* Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

* Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications


* Experience with Bluebeam, Excel, and estimating software.

* Knowledge of AWI standards and custom millwork manufacturing processes.

* Experience working with luxury hospitality, multifamily, and commercial interior projects.
