Milk Processing/Production Operator โ€“ Full Time
Toft Dairy: 3717 Venice Road, Sandusky, OH 44870
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday with a start time between 1:00AMโ€“2:00AM until completion of production (typically 10:00AMโ€“11:00AM; hours may vary)

The Milk Processing/Production Operator is responsible for supporting daily milk manufacturing operations through equipment operation, sanitation, and production tasks. This role works closely with team members to ensure production goals are met efficiently while maintaining compliance with OSHA, FDA, GMP, and company food safety and quality standards. The Operator plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and productive work environment.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor equipment used in the milk bottling and production process
  • Assist with production setup, start-up, and shutdown procedures
  • Ensure product quality, accuracy, and efficiency throughout production runs
  • Monitor equipment performance and learn basic troubleshooting techniques
  • Perform lifting and stacking of milk cases as needed
  • Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble production equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness of the production area (sweeping, mopping, rinsing, and sanitizing)
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
  • Support daily production goals and timelines
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
  • Basic math skills

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous production or manufacturing experience

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)

Preferred:

  • Experience in dairy, food, or beverage manufacturing
