Job description

Summary/Objective
This position is responsible for accurately receiving, handling, standardizing, and processing the milk per daily production requirements. Operate equipment (CIP, HTST, UF, separators, etc.) as necessary and ensure sanitation of equipment and work area as per QMS work instructions. This position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Operate & wash High-Temperature Short Time (HTST), UF and Milk separator;
• Clean-in-place (CIP) vats, lines, and silos before and after production
• Standardize milk per established guidelines
• Run whey separator and milk-o-scan
• Receive, load, and wash trucks
• Monitor CIP tanks and check for chemical strengths
• Complete all daily required paperwork
• Communicate any equipment-related problem to Team Lead and/or maintenance department

While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in a manufacturing environment with the following conditions:
