Job Description
Shift: 1st shift
Pay Rate: $20.00
Schedule: 7 AM to 3 PM; Rotating 2/2/3 schedule
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operators are responsible for all activities on their machine for their shift.
• Safety
o Follow all Plant Safety Procedures including Lockout/Tagout and 5S/Housekeeping
• Production
o Decipher 40-character material description code
o Routinely review, utilize and follow production schedules and follow any additional production notes on schedule (English)
o Maintain accurate product identification and inventory cycle counts
o Keep timely and clear communication with other production personnel and plant management
o Decipher 40-character SAP material description
o Select the correct materials for the scheduled production
o Control machine speed and output by adjusting machine controls and computer
o Produce the correct quality products at the standard rate or better
o Correctly label and bag finished goods
o Perform routine quality testing of finished product
o Measure and record production parameters and material density
o Accurately complete & submit all production/quality forms
Qualifications
Required:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Manufacturing experience is required

Physical Requirements:
Operators need to demonstrate mechanical aptitude and computer entry skills. Operators need to be able to understand and follow English based instructions, schedules and safety documentation. Operators need to be able to read a tape measure/ruler. Operators need to be able to stand for up to 12 hrs, manually lift scrap material weighing up to 50 lbs for disposal. Operate a powered forklift to retrieve and return raw materials and finished goods.
