GTI is a contract manufacturing partner supporting customers in renewable energy, power generation, infrastructure, and industrial systems.
 
We fabricate custom designed, purpose-built enclosures and skids for our customers and perform mechanical and electrical integration in-house, delivering a true turn-key product to our customers. Our scope spans Engineering, prototype builds, through full production, requiring teams that can move fast, adapt, and execute with precision.

Role Overview

The Global Account Manager will serve as the primary strategic commercial partner for GTI Fabrication’s major, high-value global accounts. Operating within the Commercial Department, this role bridges the gap between our international customer base and our internal technical and operational teams. The ideal candidate will nurture key account relationships, drive revenue growth, manage complex proposals, and align customer demand with GTI’s global manufacturing footprint and capacity.

Key Responsibilities
Account Stewardship & Strategic Growth: Act as the primary commercial point of contact for key global accounts, developing long-term strategies to expand market share and diversify the portfolio.
 
Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate closely with Engineering, Project/Program Management, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, and Production to align customer requirements with manufacturing capacity and schedules.
 
Proposal & Contract Management: Oversee the preparation of complex sales proposals, technical presentations, and commercial tools to ensure accuracy, brand consistency, and strong conversion rates.
 
Pipeline & Revenue Tracking: Maintain commercial pipeline integrity within CRM tools, providing high-level visibility, forecasting, and revenue updates to executive leadership.
 
Customer Advocacy & Escalation: Serve as the strategic liaison to communicate customer requirements, capabilities, and policies, acting as a key point of contact for account health and issue resolution.
 
Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor capabilities, and future market demands to position GTI Fabrication as a preferred long-term contract manufacturing partner.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of strategic account management or business development experience explicitly within a medium-to-large scale manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing large-scale commercial accounts, infrastructure portfolios, or defense/military contracts.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hands-on experience utilizing CRM tools for pipeline and account management.
  • Exceptional executive presence with a demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and lead cross-functional workflows between disparate departments.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to support global customer engagements and manufacturing facility alignment.
