Program Manager

Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI) is an international, ISO 9001/20000/27001 Certified, CMMI Level 3 Rated full-service provider with more than 37 years of experience in the Federal, Military, and Commercial Marketplaces. SRI is seeking a committed and passionate Program Manager to join the SRI Team!

Overview: The Armyโ€™s Transition Assistance Program (TAP) Services program supports transitioning Service Membersโ€™ entitlements to transition services and counseling covering matters of education, vocational rehabilitation, and civilian occupation employment assistance.

The TAP Program Manager (PM) is responsible to the Transition Director for the efficient and effective execution of the Transition contract. The Program Manager serves as the overarching leader of the companyโ€™s employees and will work closely with the Contracting Officerโ€™s Representative, Government Representatives, and Transition Headquarters Staff to ensure the proper execution of the transition contract. The PM and shall be onsite at Fort Knox, KY Human Resources Command Headquarters, from 0800-1600 Monday thru Friday except on Federal holidays, when executing Government authorized travel, or when the government facility is closed for administrative reasons.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Contactorโ€™s primary point of contact with the government and manage all contract operations at the Headquarters level.
  • Manage contractor program and project teams for optimal program effectiveness.
  • Provide operational expertise and oversight of the Program Management Office (PMO).
  • Direct and manage PMO actions for day-to-day TAP functions to ensure all contract requirements are met Conduct command level briefings to government personnel and TAP stakeholders.
  • Implement and provide guidance to PMO staff on TAP policies and processes.
  • Collect, analyze, and deliver centralized reports.
  • Ensure staffing of all sites.
  • Maintain the VOW/CRS compliance and all TAP files.
  • Lead continuous process improvement efforts.
  • Initiate immediate reach back to corporate assets.
  • Plan and accomplish goals.
  • Achieve TAP quality, cost, and availability goals.

Required Skills, Education, Experience & Abilities:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business administration or related field.
  • 5+ years in an advanced management role (preference given to those with program management experience).
  • Exceptional leadership skills, time management, facilitation and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of the TAP program.
  • Working knowledge of government chain of command and transition policies.
  • Working knowledge of change management principles.
  • Applicants must successfully undergo a background investigation (National Agency Check).
  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Ability to meet and correspond regularly with TAP stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masterโ€™s degree in business administration or related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of TAP and program requirements.
