Job description

At Capgemini Engineering, the world leader in engineering services, we bring together a global team of engineers, scientists, and architects to help the world's mostinnovative companies unleash their potential. From autonomous cars to life-saving robots, our digital and software technology experts think outside the box as theyprovide unique R&D and engineering services across all industries. Join us for a career full of opportunities. Where you can make a difference. Where no two days arethe same.

About the Job You're Considering

Capgemini is hiring a Data Migration Architect - the expert design authority for data migration on a large, complex Siemens Teamcenter PLM modernization - for a major Aerospace OEM. You will design the architecture of the migration systems, data flows, and quality checks, and you will drive the sizing and performance of the overall migration process. This is a deeply technical, expert-level role for someone who has architected enterprise-scale data migrations from legacy PDMs into Teamcenter - turning messy legacy data into a clean, validated, performant migration into the target platform.

Location

This is a hybrid opportunity located in the Seattle, WA metropolitan area.

Your Role
  • Design the end-to-end migration architecture - source extraction from legacy PDM / process planning,
transformation / mapping, and load into Teamcenter.
  • Design the data flows and pipelines (ETL / migration tooling), the staging model, and the legacy Teamcenter datamodel transformation.
  • Define the approach for incremental, dry-run and cutover migration by configuration applicability.
  • Design the data-quality framework - profiling, cleansing rules, validation and reconciliation, with quality gates and
    controls across the migration.
  • Build auditability and traceability into the migration fit for a regulated A&D environment.
  • Drive the sizing and performance of the overall migration process - volumes, throughput, migration windows and
    lead-time.
  • Tune the pipeline for scale; design for AI-accelerated migration and AI-assisted data quality.
Your Skills & Experience
  • US Citizenship or US Permanent Residency status required.
  • 15+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Migration Architecture, or Enterprise Data Transformation with a proven track record delivering large-scale migration programs.
  • Deep hands-on expertise with Siemens Teamcenter data models, PLM architectures, and migration of data from legacy PDM systems.
  • Strong experience with data quality management, profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, validation frameworks, and migration governance controls.
  • Demonstrated success leading migration architecture across global onshore-offshore delivery teams and complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience within Aerospace & Defense, Manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries
  • Exposure to AI-enabled migration and data quality solutions is strongly preferred.
