Job description

Role Overview:
The Google Workspace Architect will lead the end-to-end architecture, planning, and execution of enterprise-scale migrations from Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams) to Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Meet, Chat). This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise, migration tooling experience, and customer-facing consulting skills to ensure secure, scalable, and user-centric migrations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design target-state Google Workspace architecture aligned to business, security, and compliance needs.
  • Define migration strategy for Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Lead mailbox, file, and collaboration workload migrations.
  • Design coexistence and phased migration approaches.
  • Act as primary technical advisor for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Ensure minimal business disruption and high user satisfaction.

Required Skills:
  • Google Workspace Tenant architecture and administration.
  • Configuring GWS security parameters including Gmail mail flow, routing, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and compliance rules.
  • Google Drive and Shared Drives architecture, permissions, and governance.
  • Google Meet and Chat configuration and enterprise collaboration design.
  • Google Vault retention, legal holds, and eDiscovery.
  • Knowledge on Gemini AI for Google Workspace.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace Migrate.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace Migration for Microsoft Exchange (GWMME).
  • Proficiency with BitTitan MigrationWiz.
  • Proficiency with CloudM or equivalent third-party migration tools.
  • Experience with Migration wave planning, throttling management, and post-migration validation.

  • Ability to mentor engineers and provide architectural guidance.

Qualifications:
  • 8-12+ years overall IT experience.
  • 5+ years of Google Workspace administration and architecture experience.
  • Experience handling enterprise tenants.

Preferred Skills:
  • Google Workspace Certified - Professional Administrator.
