Job description

Minimum Technical Qualifications:-

  • At least five (5) years of Technical Project Management experience, including but not limited to initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and/or closing processes on projects.
  • At least three (3) years of experience using Microsoft Project to create and manage detailed project schedules.
  • At least three (3) years of experience working on technology software/application projects that followed a formal system development life cycle.
  • At least three (3) years of experience utilizing Microsoft Excel, Visio and other analytical tools
  • At least three (3) years of experience facilitating a formal issue and risk management process
  • At least three (3) years of experience in managing and performing in-depth data analysis, focusing on assessing data quality, completeness, accuracy, and consistency. Proven ability to identify data anomalies and patterns that highlight operational inefficiencies and reliability issues. Skilled in generating comprehensive data profiling reports that effectively summarize findings and provide actionable recommendations for remediation. Strong analytical mindset combined with a detail-oriented approach ensures a thorough understanding of data integrity and its impact on organizational performance.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in data governance and management, with a proven track record of establishing and implementing data governance frameworks aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Demonstrated ability to define data ownership and stewardship roles, enhancing accountability across diverse organizational levels. Skilled in developing and executing data policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring effective data management and usage. Adept at facilitating data governance meetings to raise awareness and promote adherence to governance practices among stakeholders.
  • At least three (3) years of experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and business units.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Project Manager working within state and local government
  • Experience with implementation of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) or modified off-the-shelf (MOTS) products, with preference for Software as a Solution (SaaS) applications
  • Experience with the implementation of Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse capabilities
  • Experience with installation and expansion of network infrastructure (cabling, peripherals, audio/visual equipment).
  • Experience in the creation of communication and Organizational Change Management plans and the development and delivery of communication messages to varied stakeholder groups.
  • Experience with Agile delivery in enterprise-wide initiatives
  • Proficiency and experience utilizing Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and Project Management related tools (e.g., Clarity, Jama, Microfocus Application Lifecycle Management) and techniques to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and meets customer needs.
  • Experience as a Business Analyst, gathering and documenting requirements; developing business cases, use cases or user stories; acting as a liaison between technology teams and business areas; and developing other business analysis artifacts.
  • Experience mentoring project team members, project leads or less-experienced project managers
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate or an equivalent project management certificate. 
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certificate or an equivalent enterprise agile certificate.Â
