Full-Time Paraprofessional (Emotional Support)
Location: Indian Valley Elementary and Intermediate School

The Mifflin County School District in Lewistown, PA is seeking to fill a Full-Time Paraprofessional position, primarily working in the Emotional Support classroom, for the Indian Valley Elementary and Intermediate School.

This is a full-time position working 7 hours per day, 180 days/9 months per year.

Job Summary: A Paraprofessional performs and is responsible for assisting students with academic and individual care needs. Duties range from instructional to physical activities, which may include toileting, feeding, and specific medical needs. The Paraprofessional works with individuals and small groups of students receiving special education services under the direction of the teacher(s) in general and special education classroom settings.
