Key Responsibilities

Geologic Interpretation
•    Build/maintain maps of target formations in and around operated units.  This includes structure, isopach, OOIP/OGIP, GOR/phase/yield, BHP/Pgrad, etc.
•    Integrate all operated and non-operated data into subsurface interpretation such as geosteering interpretations
•    Have a good understanding of all uphole zones as potential geohazards to operations or upside potential.  Map zones as needed
•    Identify optimal landing zones and lateral targets for horizontal wells by studying offset wells.  Intimate knowledge of all horizontal wells on and around operated units is critical

Well Planning & Execution
•    Collaborate with geophysics, drilling, completions, and reservoir engineers (asset management team) to design and position horizontal wells within the asset
•    Work closely with Operations Geologist to build pre-drill SOP’s and well plans to use when executing geosteering in the lateral
