  • Location: This is a 100% On-Site position in Colorado Springs, CO.
  • Clearance: An Active Secret Clearance is absolutely REQUIRED to be considered (with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance).
  • Technical Experience: A minimum of 5 years of direct C# experience is REQUIRED.

Job Description: Seeking a mid-level Software Developer to become a key member supporting the US Army Space and Missile Defense Command Capability Development Integration Directorate (CDID) government personnel. You will drive efforts associated with innovations for Space, Near Space, Space Control, Missile Defense Capabilities, and information operations to the Warfighter.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop long-range JFT (Joint Force Tracking) software architecture plans and execute software engineering processes within JFT development process guidelines.
  • Develop software solutions based on validated problem reports and change requests and execute software coding to support division projects.
  • Support the development of user interfaces for handheld devices and the development of web services solutions for JFT tasks.
  • Develop net-centric data interfaces in accordance with evolving Joint C2 standards.
  • Plan, propose, and implement upgrades to JFT software to maintain compatibility with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) upgrades and advances in technology.

Experience and Certifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Science or Engineering plus 8-10 years of experience, a Master's with 5-7 years, a PhD with 2-4 years, OR 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Security+ Certification or the ability to obtain it within 3 months of the start date.
  • Maintain a minimum of an IAT II certification.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Experience with C# (minimum of 5 years)
  • Experience with ASP .NET and Net Core
  • Experience with Design Patterns and Object-Oriented Programming
  • Experience with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
  • Experience with .Net Model View Controller (MVC)
  • Experience with JavaScript
  • Experience with Relational Database Structures and Transact SQL
