Responsibilities & Qualifications
Position Overview:
The Financial Analyst will perform and provide detailed financial analyses to leaders at all levels of the organization, empowering them to make data driven decisions. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this role owns regular recurring tasks, such as weekly KPI reporting, month end close, and the annual budget process. Additionally, the Financial Analyst provides ad hoc support to various corporate and operating partners as needed.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Develop and maintain advanced financial reporting frameworks and dashboards utilized by executive leadership and key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Accounting, FP&A, and IT, to streamline month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Lead strategic financial analyses and modeling, providing actionable insights for high-impact decision-making at the senior leadership level.
  • Take ownership of the production and management of the organization's annual budget, long-term financial forecasts, and quarterly updates for executive review.
  • Play a pivotal role in operational and financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Drive the implementation and optimization of Business Intelligence platforms and financial reporting tools, enhancing data visualization and performance tracking across business units.
  • Regularly present independent findings in formal presentations to senior leadership and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Monitor and evaluate financial impacts from payor rate changes, market trends, and other external factors, ensuring proactive risk management and financial planning strategies

  • Working knowledge of advanced financial concepts and methodologies, including ROI, payback analysis, and scenario modeling.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply strategic critical thinking in navigating complex problems, identifying innovative solutions, and providing actionable recommendations to drive organizational success.
  • Proven leadership and self-starter qualities, with exceptional flexibility to prioritize and manage multiple high-stakes projects under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Exceptional collaborative capabilities to effectively lead cross-functional discussions and partnerships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, adept at preparing and delivering clear, persuasive presentations and reports for senior leadership, board members, and external audiences.

Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a similar field
  • 2+ years of experience in an Analyst role or similar level
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a complex environment and collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels
  • Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
  • Big 4 experience preferred but not required
  • Experience with ERP and BI systems preferred but not required (Workday, Adaptive Planning, Tableau)
