Davidson is seeking a Mid-Level Systems Engineer in Boulder, CO.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical planning, support design reviews, and support the development of a tool to communicate and track action items internally and with our customers.
  • Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering, requirements, and design artifacts.
  • Work with both technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature systems architecture content for large program designs.
  • Conduct pre-review assessments to ensure readiness prior to formal design review.
  • Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical).
  • Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis.
  • Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes for model development, tool integration, and team integration.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in a STEM field and 5 years of related experience OR Master of Science in a STEM field and 3 years of related experience.
  • Deep experience working along the left side of the "Systems Engineering Vee".
  • Demonstrated experience developing Systems Engineering models using the Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and core MBSE tools (such as Cameo, Rhapsody, or MagicDRAW).
  • Experience with requirements management, baseline analysis, and allocation methodologies.
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior-level engineers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief technical information to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, drive process improvements, and collaborate across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Object Modeling Group (OMG) Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP) Model Builder Fundamental Certification.
  • Experience using the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM).
  • Experience leading technical projects, assignments, or engineering teams. Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence) or similar agile workflow environments.
  • Experience working with DOORS or similar requirements management tools.
  • Experience using agile development methodologies within a hardware or systems framework.
