Mead & Hunt is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Transportation team as a Mid-Level Civil Engineer in La Crosse, WI.
Responsibilities include:
  • Design tasks from preliminary to final design for DOT, County, and Municipal clients
  • Analyzing and preparing engineering reports, and construction cost estimates for various transportation design projects
  • Assisting with construction administration and inspection tasks including working in the field at project sites (weekends and nights, as needed)
  • May assist with client contact, meetings, and communication pertain to specific projects
  • Other duties as assigned

A valid driver's license and some travel will be required.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil engineering from an accredited college or university and at least 4 years of experience. A PE license is required.
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:
  • Wisconsin PE
  • Transportation design experience
  • Demonstrated experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MS office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Prior experience with WisDOT design and construction projects preferred
