About the Role


We're looking for skilled and motivated professionals at all experience levels - Staff, Senior, Supervisor, Manager, or Director - to join our Assurance Services team. This role can be based in our Cleveland or Akron office or performed fully remotely for more senior candidates. Whether you're building foundational audit skills or ready to lead engagements, develop client relationships, and drive practice growth, there's a place for you here.

Requirements:

Responsibilities will be tailored to your experience level and may include:

• Assist with or lead HUD audit engagements from planning through completion

• Prepare and/or review work papers, financial statements, and audit documentation

• Analyze and evaluate internal controls, accounting processes, and systems

• Supervise and mentor junior staff, reviewing work and providing on-the-job training (supervisor level and above)

• Manage client communications, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met

• Oversee multiple engagements simultaneously and manage project budgets and billing (manager/director level)

• Develop and maintain client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact (manager/director level)

• Contribute to business development, proposal efforts, and practice growth initiatives (director level)

• Perform technical research and stay current on HUD and GAAP requirements

• Identify opportunities to enhance client service and strengthen relationships


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• CPA certification, actively pursuing CPA license, or CPA eligible (level dependent)

• Public accounting audit experience ranging from 1–10+ years depending on level

• Working knowledge of GAAP and assurance standards; HUD audit experience a plus

• Strong attention to detail, time management, and technical skills

• Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to a team-oriented environment
