Business/System Analyst

New York, NY (Hybrid)

We are seeking a skilled Business/System Analyst with strong expertise in requirements gathering, process design, and Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions by translating requirements into clear documentation, user stories, and process flows using tools such as JIRA, Lucidchart, and Microsoft Visio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform business, system, and technical analysis to understand project requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
  • Define functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Conduct requirements workshops and stakeholder discussions.

Required Qualifications: Analysis Skills
  • Strong experience in: Business Analysis, System Analysis, Technical Analysis.
  • Ability to break down complex business problems into clear and actionable requirements.
Requirements Management
  • Expertise in: Requirements elicitation, Requirements definition, Requirements documentation.
  • Experience creating: User Stories, Use Cases, Functional Specifications, Acceptance Criteria.
Process Design
  • Hands-on experience with: Process Mapping, Workflow Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams (DFD).
  • Proficiency with: Lucidchart, Microsoft Visio.
Agile & Tools
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience working with: JIRA (Backlog Management and Story Tracking).
  • Knowledge of: Sprint Lifecycle, Agile Best Practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to technical systems, APIs, and integrations.
  • Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts.
  • Experience supporting UAT coordination and testing activities.
