We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst / Power Platform Developer to support the administration, enhancement, and ongoing development of critical business continuity and operational tools. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to translate business needs into scalable Power Platform and SharePoint solutions.

The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis skills with hands-on experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Modern SharePoint, and related technologies. This individual must be capable of gathering requirements, managing enhancement backlogs, troubleshooting defects, validating data, and supporting the full development lifecycle from design through deployment.

Key Responsibilities


  • Analyze business processes, systems, and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Elicit, document, and translate business requirements into technical specifications and functional solutions.
  • Design, develop, test, and implement enhancements using Power Apps (Canvas Apps), Power Automate, and SharePoint.
  • Manage application backlogs, prioritize enhancement requests, and facilitate releases through established governance processes.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate enhancement options and recommend effective solutions.
  • Create Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), process flows, use cases, and functional specifications.
  • Support defect tracking, testing, release management, and user acceptance activities.
  • Validate and analyze data to support operational reporting and decision-making.
  • Create, modify, and maintain ad hoc and standardized reports.
  • Participate in feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for business processes, system functionality, and operational procedures.
  • Work effectively with both technical teams and executive-level stakeholders.

Required Qualifications


  • 3 5 years of experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including:

    • Power Apps (Canvas Apps)
    • Power Automate

  • 2+ years of experience developing and supporting Modern SharePoint solutions.
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience managing application backlogs and supporting Agile delivery processes.
  • Strong understanding of business process analysis, workflow design, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with defect tracking, testing, and release management.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple teams.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience creating SQL queries.
  • Experience developing VBA scripts.
  • Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, MySQL, or similar database technologies.
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications.
