Overview

BlueWater Federal is looking for a SharePoint Developer to support Dept of the Navy at the Pentagon


Responsibilities
  • Design and implement SharePoint Online solutions supporting DUSN (M) business operations, including document management systems and collaboration portals.
  • Develop custom web parts using SPFx and React to enhance user experience and functionality.
  • Build automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline approval processes and reduce manual workload.
  • Migrate legacy SharePoint on-prem environments to SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365. Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft Teams and other enterprise tools to improve collaboration across Navy stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements (RMF, STIGs) and participate in ATO documentation.
  • Provide Tier II/III support for SharePoint applications, troubleshooting issues and optimizing performance.
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with mission objectives. Create governance policies, taxonomy structures, and metadata strategies for enterprise content management.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field such as computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline.
  • Active Secret clearance required.
  • 5+ years of experience developing and deploying standard and custom Microsoft SharePoint applications and tools using ASP.NET C#, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery and SharePoint Designer
  • 2+ years of experience using third party tools such as Bamboo or Metalogix, 1+ years of experience designing custom graphics and web pages for use in SharePoint
  • 2+ years of experience working with PowerBI
  • 3+ years of experience working with SharePoint 2013/2016/SharePoint Online,
  • Ability to develop tools to automate business processes using SharePoint tools such as InfoPath and SharePoint Designer Batch)
  • Security+ certification is required.
