Microsoft SharePoint / Microsoft 365 Solutions Developer
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft SharePoint / Microsoft 365 Solutions Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-scale SharePoint Online and M365 solutions, with a strong focus on legal document management, automation, and secure collaboration. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development, the Power Platform, and large-scale document repositories, preferably within a legal or regulated enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop custom SharePoint Online solutions based on business and legal department requirements.
  • Build, configure, and maintain SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, pages, workflows, and web parts.
  • Develop secure, scalable document management solutions supporting large data volumes.
  • Create and enhance solutions using SPFx (React framework) and modern PnP web parts and extensions to improve usability, navigation, and functionality.
  • Design and implement automated workflows using Power Automate for document management, approvals, notifications, and business processes.
  • Develop low-code Power Apps integrated with SharePoint and Microsoft 365 services.
  • Integrate SharePoint with other enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, and legal platforms.
  • Develop proofs of concept, prototypes, wireframes, and solutions from user stories through production deployment.
  • Draft technical user stories and acceptance criteria in collaboration with the Technical Platform Owner.
  • Implement and manage SharePoint security, access controls, permissions, and governance solutions.
  • Resolve SharePoint-related issues, monitor performance, troubleshoot complex problems, and provide end-user support.
  • Support scheduled weekend maintenance and platform enablement activities as required.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business stakeholders, and legal teams to ensure solutions meet organizational and regulatory needs.
  • Identify, analyze, and digitize manual business processes to enable automation and efficiency.
Required Qualifications (Must Have)
  • 5+ years of experience with SharePoint Online, including managing large-scale document repositories.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying SPFx solutions in large enterprise environments (legal department experience strongly preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience with PowerShell and the Microsoft Power Platform, including Microsoft Graph, PnP, Search, and REST APIs.
  • Strong experience developing and supporting complex Power Automate workflows.
  • Proven experience working with Legal eDocs / Legal Document Management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Purview, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), retention policies, eDiscovery, and information governance.
  • Expertise in Microsoft SharePoint / Microsoft 365 solution development (MVP preferred).
  • Certified UI/UX JavaScript developer.
  • Experience supporting SharePoint permissions, navigation, content management, and enterprise governance models.
