We are currently seeking a Part-Time Greeter for our Laurel, DE location.  The ideal candidate for this position is dependable, detail-oriented, charismatic, and customer-focused! 

Please note: This position requires the ability to work weekends and some evenings. Approximately 25 hours per week.


Essential Functions:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Welcoming visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
  • Directing visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.
  • Maintaining the Smart System Up Board to ensure all sales consultants are correctly assigned to visitors/shoppers who enter the showroom.
  • Maintaining safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Performing operator duties by answering inbound calls and directing them to the proper employee or department.
  • Maintaining continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Closing showrooms with team assistance.
Physical Requirements:

Light - Exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work.

Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time

  • High School Diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written. 
  • Professional, friendly, and Customer focused.
  • Microsoft Office skills, computer savvy. Smart System knowledge is a plus!
  • Detail-oriented and works well under pressure.
  • Some supply management experience.
