A growing CPA and advisory firm is expanding its Client Accounting Services team and seeking an experienced Client Accounting Services Accountant / Senior Bookkeeper.
This is not a transactional or data-entry bookkeeping position. You will manage a portfolio of small to mid-sized business clients, take ownership of their monthly accounting processes, and serve as a trusted financial partner to business owners and internal advisory teams.

What You’ll Do
- Manage the day-to-day accounting needs of an assigned portfolio of clients
- Own the monthly close process, including account reconciliations and adjusting journal entries
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements
- Identify discrepancies, accounting issues, and opportunities to improve client processes
- Manage and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows
- Maintain accurate general ledger activity and supporting schedules
- Assist with cash flow reporting, budgeting, and other financial analysis
- Communicate directly with clients regarding financial results, outstanding items, and accounting needs
- Collaborate with tax and advisory professionals to support tax compliance, year-end reporting, and strategic planning
- Help clients maintain accurate, timely, and well-organized financial records
What We’re Looking For
- Previous bookkeeping, accounting, or Client Accounting Services experience
- Experience managing multiple clients, entities, or sets of financial records
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and the monthly close process
- Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements
- Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and basic data analysis
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage competing deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, client-service-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a broader accounting, tax, and advisory team
Experience working within a CPA firm, public accounting environment, outsourced accounting department, or Client Accounting Services practice is highly preferred.
