David Weekley Homes is looking for a Marketing Events and Model Coordinator to join our Marketing Team in the Greater Houston, Texas area.
Our Marketing Team is responsible for creating exceptional experiences that connect homebuyers with our communities and brand. The Marketing Events and Model Coordinator plays a key role in planning and executing events, maintaining model home presentation standards, and supporting community marketing initiatives that drive traffic and sales.
Job Responsibilities:
• Plan, coordinate and execute community grand openings, realtor events, model home events, homeowner appreciation events and other marketing initiatives
• Manage event logistics including timelines, vendor coordination, budgets, permits, signage, rentals, catering, entertainment and on-site execution
• Coordinate the setup, maintenance and overall presentation of model homes to ensure they consistently reflect David Weekley Homes' brand standards
• Work closely with Marketing Coordinator, Sales, Design Center, Construction, Land, Purchasing and external vendors to support successful community launches and marketing campaigns
• Conduct regular model home inspections to ensure merchandising, collateral, signage and marketing displays remain current and in excellent condition
• Coordinate model furniture installations, décor updates, and seasonal refreshes as needed
• Assist with opening new communities by coordinating marketing readiness, model home setup and promotional activities
• Track event budgets, invoices and vendor payments while maintaining accurate records
• Evaluate event performance through attendance tracking, lead generation, post-event analysis and sales conversion to identify opportunities for improvement
• Maintain project schedules and manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Build positive working relationships with internal team members, vendors, and community partners while delivering an exceptional customer experience
Qualifications
• College degree in Marketing, Event Management, Hospitality or related field preferred
• Prior experience in marketing, event planning, project coordination or customer service preferred
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Creative problem-solving skills and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new marketing and project management software
