Automotive Title Clerk

Location: Winchester, VA

Pay: $22-$26 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Carter Myers Automotive (CMA) is seeking a detail-oriented Automotive Title Clerk to support our dealership operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring vehicle title transactions are processed accurately and efficiently while maintaining compliance with state regulations

What You'll Do

  • Process vehicle title and registration paperwork accurately and timely.
  • Maintain used vehicle title inventories for multiple dealerships.

Resolve title, lien, payoff, and registration discrepancies.

  • Track and maintain vehicle inventory spreadsheets.
  • Work closely with accounting, sales, and management teams to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Assist with dealership administrative and documentation processes.

Requirements:

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of automotive title clerk experience required
  • Experience processing vehicle titles, registrations, liens, and payoffs in a dealership environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and inventory tracking
  • Knowledge of dealership management systems such as CDK preferred
  • Experience with VITU or WV VRS is a plus
  • Accounting knowledge or dealership accounting experience preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple dealerships, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
