Job description

Microsoft Exchange / System Administrator
Location: Suitland, MD
Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI

Leidos is seeking an experienced Microsoft Exchange / System Administrator to support critical mission operations at the Office of Naval Intelligence in Suitland, MD. This role is more than just IT-it's about enabling operations that shape national security. If you're ready to work with cutting-edge systems and make a real-world difference, we want you on our team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer MS Exchange, Data Spillage Compliance and Restoration of Mailboxes.
  • Administer and support Windows-based mission applications and hardware.
  • Configure, maintain, and secure physical and virtual systems to STIG standards.
  • Support system upgrades, backups, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate across IT teams to ensure seamless operations and mission success.
  • Resolve technical issues using existing ticketing system and manage change requests.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and asset inventories.
  • Perform ACAS Driven System remediations to exceed System Compliance standards.
  • Support Cloud based Functions, integration and ongoing Exchange Online Migration.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance (in DISS).
  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of related experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Security+ CE or IAT Level II certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of offer acceptance).
  • Administrator of Microsoft Exchange Server and/or Enterprise Mailbox Services
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server (2008-2022), MS Exchange Server, Active Directory, SCCM, and GPOs.
  • Strong troubleshooting, configuration, and migration skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with rack-mounted servers, networking, and peripherals.
  • Familiarity with Virtual Based servers and networking.
  • Familiarity with Cloud based servers, networking, and concepts.
