Job description

We are seeking a professional and personable Part-Time Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, possess strong multitasking skills, and have experience in fast-paced food and beverage environments. Candidates with a background in food safety, retail math, simple food preparation and delivery, and POS systems such as Micros POS will thrive in this position. A commitment to hospitality excellence and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently are essential for success.

Compensation:

$14.50 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using Micros POS
  • Engage with customers professionally, providing excellent customer service to enhance their experience
  • Prepare and cook simple food items using MerryChef technology
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
  • Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for accurate billing and change distribution
  • Restock bar supplies as needed and monitor inventory levels
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service by adhering to legal drinking age laws and alcohol service policies
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff for food pairing recommendations, especially during banquet or catering events
  • Handle customer inquiries promptly, addressing any concerns or special requests with professionalism
  • Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or private parties when required
  • Perform inventory tracking and run reports

Qualifications:
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Proven customer service experience with a strong patron-focused mentality
  • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)
  • We prefer some experience working in the food service industry
  • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
