Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Server/Waiter and become the heart of an exceptional dining experience! In this lively role, you will deliver outstanding guest service, ensure food and beverage orders are accurately taken and efficiently served, and create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Your energy, attention to detail, and passion for hospitality will shine through as you engage with guests, promote menu offerings, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment while contributing to memorable dining moments.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards for fine dining or casual settings
  • Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering, basic math calculations, and processing payments efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service areas, and food handling stations in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations

Experience

  • Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience with OpenTable reservations system or similar booking platforms is a plus
  • Ability to multitask effectively with excellent time management in a fast-paced setting
  • Previous host/hostess or bussing experience can be beneficial but is not required; enthusiasm for serving is key
