FAR Out Hospitality is seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Greeter/Host. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and positive dining experience.

Host/Greeter Duties
  • Greet guests with a friendly smile and positive attitude upon arrival, making them feel immediately welcomed.
  • Manage guest check-in procedures efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to record reservations and walk-in arrivals.
  • Direct guests to their tables or designated areas while providing helpful information about the venue’s offerings.
  • Answer guest inquiries via phone or in person with clear communication and professional phone etiquette.
  • Coordinate with restaurant staff and management to ensure smooth seating flow and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the greeting area, ensuring a polished appearance at all times.
  • Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, enhancing overall guest experience.
Skills
  • Previous host/hostess experience or background in food service and hospitality environments.
  • Strong customer service skills with a genuine desire to create positive interactions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with diverse guests.
  • Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred.
  • Experience in hotel or guest services roles is a plus, demonstrating adaptability across hospitality settings.
