ABOUT THE ROLE: As a Scale Technician, you are the face of Scale Systems Inc. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and calibration of our customers weighing and measuring equipment. You will work independently to troubleshoot, test, observe, program, and document the various components of an industrial scale.

You are confident in your ability to prioritize and make critical decisions You are driven and motivated to make a meaningful impact in your role and community MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure overall customer satisfaction Perform standard procedures for calibrating and testing industrial scale equipment Diagnose system problems with PC, tools, multimeters, and other diagnostic gear to make necessary repairs Keep customer apprised of progress during maintenance or a down situation Gather and record machine information to monitor performance Make recommendations for improving the service, reliability, and performance of equipment Perform work involving the completion of appropriate service documents, test reports, reviewing terms and details with customers Provide onsite training and consultation on equipment and repairs Requirements CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: Minimum requirements for the role: 3-5 years of Mechanical and/or Electrical experience preferred (i.e., HVAC/R, Industrial, Aviation, Medical Equipment, Welding Equipment, Vending Machine, Advanced Copiers/Printers, and Military Equipment.) High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to work in a variety of environments (i.e., Industrial, Agriculture, Aggregate, Pharmaceutical, etc.) Applicant will be responsible for providing their own general hand tools. Necessary specialty tools will be furnished by the company. Able to work independently without direct supervision, as well as ability to work as a team
Detail oriented and can accurately process paperwork and complete tasks within deadlines Working knowledge of personal computers including Microsoft Office, email, and basic understanding of networks Logical troubleshooting skills and capability to isolate problems Desirable Qualifications: Must have a valid Georgia driver's license.
