The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role ensures the efficient production of high-quality components by monitoring machine performance, inspecting finished products, and following safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate CNC machines according to production specifications and work instructions.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring proper alignment and securing of workpieces.
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on CNC machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Maintain accurate production records, including machine settings and part counts.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and quality control personnel to optimize production processes.
• Keep the work area clean and organized to support a safe and efficient environment.
