THE JOB:
As a Banquet Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the catering events. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Receive future function sheets from Catering office to determine the amount of future business and workload duties
  • Meet with function group leaders to determine last minute changes and to discuss details of the event
  • Ensure delivery of SHOW service to the client during the event
  • Order materials needed for functions
  • Account for all food, beverage, labor and material equipment used
  • Complete reports and maintain complete records of all Banquet Events
  • Handle employee and guest complaints in an effort to resolve problems as they arise
  • Inform employees of management policies and ensure compliance
  • Inspect rooms prior to staff's arrival to verify set up and ensure equipment is in place

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • At least 21 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ Years of Banquet Supervisory experience

Pay Rate:
The rate for this role is:
$24.00
This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.
Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.
Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
