Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Job Summary
We are recruiting a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for a full-time remote therapy position serving clients in North Carolina. This role is centered on providing professional online therapy to clients navigating relationship concerns, family conflict, life transitions, stress, grief, anxiety, and communication challenges.
As part of the clinical team, you will manage a caseload, conduct therapy sessions, complete assessments, prepare treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation. The ideal candidate is organized, clinically sound, and confident providing therapy through a secure telehealth model.
Primary Duties
  • Deliver virtual mental health therapy to clients in North Carolina
  • Provide services for individuals, couples, and families
  • Conduct assessments to better understand client concerns, goals, and clinical needs
  • Prepare treatment plans and update them based on client progress
  • Support clients with relational issues, emotional concerns, family transitions, and coping strategies
  • Maintain complete and accurate client records through an EHR system
  • Follow required procedures for confidentiality, risk assessment, and client safety
  • Coordinate referrals when clients require resources outside the scope of remote therapy
  • Uphold professional standards for LMFT practice and telehealth care

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
  • Active and unrestricted LMFT license in North Carolina
  • Previous experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families
  • Strong understanding of family systems, relational therapy, and ethical clinical practice
  • Comfortable providing services through telehealth platforms
  • Experience with EHR systems and clinical documentation
  • Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for remote sessions
