Trillium Family Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our esteemed team. This role is primarily remote, providing flexibility for our therapists to engage with clients from the comfort of their own environments. While our therapists primarily work from home, they maintain a strong connection with the Trillium Family Therapy team through regular virtual meetings and collaborative care discussions. We also have an outpatient office in Aurora where occasional in-person meetings and professional development activities may take place.

• Establish and maintain positive therapeutic relationships with clients, fostering a trusting environment for open communication.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and develop personalized treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique needs and goals.
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to facilitate growth and healing.
• Regularly review client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and refer clients to specialists when additional support is required, ensuring comprehensive care.

The LMFT will work with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Our approach emphasizes family systems and the importance of understanding the unique dynamics within each household, enabling therapists to create impactful connections with clients.

• A current and active State licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to provide empathetic counseling to individuals and families, preferably in an outpatient setting.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively handle multiple client cases and administrative tasks.

• Previous experience offering individual and group therapy using various therapeutic modalities.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and online counseling tools, as this role predominantly involves remote therapy.
• Experience working with underserved populations and knowledge of community resources to facilitate effective referrals.
