The position will report to the Quality Manager under the Quality Engineering Department.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements quality systems and changes that promote product and process improvement
  • Works with business unit teams, engineering groups, and project teams to qualify internally manufactured products and solve problems
  • Performs measurements using CMM’s, calipers, micrometers, pin gages, height gages, optical comparator, and other traditional measurement tools and equipment
  • Analyzes information and measurement data to create, maintain, and effectively present results to stakeholders  
  • Supports the validation and acceptance of new manufacturing fabrication and metrology equipment
  • Supports Internal Production Part Approval Process, Supplier Production Part Approval Process, and Calibration
  • Manages projects related to quality systems and metrology
  • Develops and implement policies, procedures, and work instructions
  • Supervises quality/metrology technicians and quality processes
