Job description

Role: Calibration Technician

Location: North Carolina (NC)
Duration: Contract / Full-Time (Customize as needed)
Shift: Day Shift (Typical: 8 AM – 5 PM)

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Calibration Technician to perform calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of measurement and test equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform calibration and verification of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, balances, and electrical equipment
  • Maintain and update calibration records and documentation in compliance with ISO/FDA/cGMP standards
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust equipment to ensure proper functionality
  • Schedule and track calibration activities to ensure timely completion
  • Work with internal teams to ensure equipment meets quality and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in audits and ensure compliance with quality systems and procedures
  • Label calibrated equipment and maintain traceability of instruments
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Associate degree (Technical field preferred)
  • 1–3 years of experience in calibration, instrumentation, or maintenance
  • Knowledge of calibration standards, measurement systems, and tools
  • Familiarity with ISO, cGMP, or quality systems
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, calibration software)
