What is a Metro store?

A Metro Store is a wholesale retailer that primarily serves business customers such as restaurants, hotels, and small retailers. These stores offer a wide range of products in bulk at competitive prices, including groceries, fresh produce, household items, and professional equipment. Metro Stores typically require customers to have a membership or business license to shop, as they are designed to cater to the needs of professional buyers rather than individual consumers. The stores are part of the METRO AG group, a leading international wholesale company with operations in many countries. Their goal is to provide efficient, cost-effective solutions to support the daily operations of their business customers.
